Barcelona star Jordi Alba has held talks with Cesc Fabregas and Pedro as he considers Chelsea or Manchester United move

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has spoken to Chelsea pair Cesc Fabregas and Pedro about life in England as he mulls over joining either the Blues or Manchester United.

The 28-year-old has been with the La Liga giants since 2012 but there have been reports that he wants to find a new challenge this summer.

That has alerted both Chelsea and Manchester United, who will be in the market for left-backs when the transfer window opens.

United are looking at a number of options as doubts remain over the future of Luke Shaw, while Antonio Conte reportedly wants to add competition for Marcos Alonso at Stamford Bridge.

And Alba is seemingly keen on the prospect of joining one of those clubs as, according to AS, he has spoken to Fabregas and Pedro about life in England.

The left-back is good friends with the Chelsea pair after playing with them for Spain over a number of years.

Alba is not opposed to staying at Barcelona for another season, but his decision to speak to Fabregas and Pedro shows how he is certainly keeping his options open.
